Sampling

Canton Fair Co. is extremely sensitive to the fact that sourcing goods from overseas is fraught with uncertainty. Samples are a critical component of strategic offshore sourcing, and we ensure that the product delivered is the product sourced.

We start by electronically transmitting full specifications and photographs of your required products, and follow that up with delivering your samples (when available) to the supplier and delivering factory samples to you to review, revise and approve the samples prior to production of the actual products. Depending on the product, you normally receive and approve.

- Factory demonstration samples (to show the factory's capacity of producing products similar to the ones you require).

- Pre-Production samples, for your final approval prior to commencing production.

- Mid- production and Final Random samples, as part of the quality control process, to ensure that the entire production run is completed to the standard of the approved pre-production sample.

Supplier Evaluation

Before placing an order with a new manufacturer it is important to ensure that your quality specifications are fully understood, and that the supplier has adequate production capability, working conditions, management and quality control processes.? However, manufacturers and importers, equally, need reassurance and advice on the capabilities of their current production facilities. Canton Fair Co. will provide local auditors to undertake this evaluation.

Pre-Production Inspection

Our professional staff inspects the quality of materials, parts and components at the initial stage of production to ascertain conformity with specific requirements. Production samples will be drawn at random and checked to assure meeting specifications. Canton Fair Co. permits timely corrections and improvements in product quality before mass production commences.

During Production Inspection

We check samples when the production of approximately 30% of the shipment quantity has been completed. It can ensure that the previously identified quality problems are reasonably rectified and the product quality conforms to your requirements.

Final Random (Pre-Shipment Inspection)

The pre-shipment inspection takes place when the merchandise is 100% completed (or the percentage of product completed agreed by buyer), paced and ready for shipment. We use internationally recognized sampling procedures, such as ANSI/ASQC Z1.4, ISO 2859-1, BS 6001, BF X06-022 and DIN 40080, for the comprehensive random pre-shipment inspection. A prompt report of all findings will be sent by fax or via e-mail to you. We verify quantity, workshop, function, color, size specifications and packing details, all with a view to ensure that the contract specifications are met.

Supervision of Container Loading

We supervise the finished goods when loading into containers. Our inspectors will help the manufacturer finish loading under correct specifications and report the conditions of container and shipped products to you.
